Library Curbside Pickup Now Available

By: Christine MacArthur,
County of Brant Public Library

Book lovers in Brant can start celebrating as the County of Brant Public Library is now offering curbside pickup at all library branches.
After testing the service at its main Paris Branch, library staffers are ready to roll out Curbside Pickup throughout the County. For the most current information on Curbside Pickup, please visit the library’s website at
Patrons who are interested in participating can place their holds now. As always, you can request holds through our online catalogue at or you may call the library for help. Because the library is working with limited staff at this time, you must call the main Paris Branch at 519-442-2433 on Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, even if your home branch is not Paris. We are unable to handle phone requests at other branches at this time.
When your items are ready for pickup, library staff will contact you to book a pickup time at your preferred branch, and explain our safety procedures.
Do you have returns? Materials can be placed in any of our exterior drop boxes. If you have large items or electronics, please call the Paris Branch at 519-442-2433 to arrange for special returns.
“We are thrilled that we are able to offer curbside pickup and the response has been amazing so far,” said Outreach Coordinator Gary Jermy. “Our procedures are rigorously tested and we are consistently working on how we will be able to offer additional services to the public in a safe manner.”
