Trails – Which are open and which are closed

April 5, 2020 (County of Brant Press Release)

Trails – Which are open and which are closed?

Trails and parks (not playgrounds) owned and/or managed by the County of Brant remain OPEN, but you MUST practice physical distancing and maintain a minimum of 2 metres / 6 feet from others. GRCA owned and managed properties, facilities, trails and passive use conservation areas remain CLOSED.

Here’s an interactive map of the open and closed trails and parks: https://maps.brant.ca/opentrails
PDF maps of the open and closed trails are also attached to this news article.

Playgrounds and all park amenities remain closed. Visit www.brant.ca/COVID-19 for a larger breakdown of what amenities are closed.

Dogs are permitted in parks and trails on a leash.

When using parking lots, leave one space between vehicles. If parking lot is nearing capacity, come back at a different time when it is less busy.

Please check the City of Brantford’s website for Park and Trail status for trails that cross municipal boundaries. www.brantford.ca/trails

We appreciate your cooperation. This requires everyone to do their part.
